The season of Lent |
|
| Lent – 40 days from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday. This year, Lent is observed March 1 to April 16. Lent – a time for repentance, a time for reflection, a time for contrition. In this issue, ENY takes a look at Lent. We start off by asking a simple question – What is Lent? We then explore ways to observe Lent and participate in a regimen that may be meaningful for individuals as well as families. There is no right way or wrong way to observe Lent – it’s an individual discipline or practice. So, no matter how – or if – you observe Lent, may your 40 days from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday be meaningful to you. |
