Portrait of the Rt. Rev. Richard F. Grein Unveiled
Honoring the XIV Bishop of New York


The portrait of the Rt. Rev. Richard F. Grein, XIV Bishop of New York, was unveiled on May 22 in Donegan Hall on the grounds of the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine. A number of people attended the event honoring Bishop Grein and his legacy with the Episcopal Diocese of New York. His portrait, top left, was painted by Everett Raymond Kinstler, pictured bottom left with Bishop Grein. Also attending the unveiling were family members of Bishop Grein. Pictured at top right are, from left to right, Richard Redfoot; Mary Leslie Redfoot, Bishop Grein’s daughter; Bishop Grein; Margaret Moore, Bishop Grein’s daughter; James Moore; Julie Smith and her husband David Grein, Bishop Grein’s son. Center right is Bishop Grein flanked by Bishop Catherine Roskam and Bishop Mark Sisk, Grein’s successor. Bottom right, Bishop Grein greets Bishop E. Don Taylor in front of the new portrait that hangs in Donegan Hall in Diocesan House.
