Important Business of Convention
In other business, Jim Forde of Good Shepherd, Bronx, was re-elected Secretary to Convention. Sister Faith Margaret of the Community of the Holy Spirit was elected treasurer. She replaces Kurt Barnes of Grace, Millbrook, who was recently appointed treasurer of the National Church.
Sister Catherine Grace of the Community of the Holy Spirit served as Chaplain for the Convention.

Reports and updates were provided by: the Rev. Deacon Claudia Wilson on the Congregational Support Plan; Robert Gutheil on Episcopal Charities; the Rev. Christopher King on youth activities; Gary Glynn on Diocesan Investment Trust (DIT); the Rev. Stephen Chinlund about Episcopal Social Services; and Diane Pollard, on the actions of General Convention “that did not get reported on CNN or on the front page of The New York Times.”

Bishop Sisk made the following appointments:

• Incorporation and Admission of Parishes, Class of 2004: Isabel Hewitt, Grace, Monroe;    Donald I. Snyder, St. Michael’s, Manhattan
